CLEANFILES REVIEW

Cleanfiles is a revolutionary Pay Per Download (PPD) network that offers your the possibility to earn money and get paid when people will complete the survey and download the files you uploaded. The files you can upload, can vary a lot from a tutorial e-book, trainer program, password files up to ‘how to’ guides, in other words, you have endless options. Being skeptical about any new site that was popping up in my area of interests, wondering it CleanFiles actually pays so that I wouldn’t loose my time creating content, I decided to give it a try for myself, and later on to realize what a gem I have found. After I’ve read several Internet Marketing forums and did a few Google searches, I choose to give it a try, and I don’t regret my choice!

Cleanfiles Payment System

The minimum amount of money you need to make in order to be eligible for a payout, is $50. The payouts are available in Paypal, ACH Direct Deposit, Check, Direct Wire, Bitcoins, and very soon to be added Payoneer & Payza.

Payment Date

Payouts are made weekly! This is a rare things to see on PPD network these days, unless you are making thousands of dollars, and then they make an effort to pay you earlier. But on Cleanfiles, no matter how much or little you make, if you reach to $50, you can request a weekly payout. As simple as that.

Cleanfiles developed a great reputation as it’s been for some time out there, although I will keep my statement to call it still new, if it’s not older than 1-2 years, despite the fact that in several months this PPD network made a good name for themselves. While I am writing this Cleanfiles review, I realize that just talking about introductions and such, won’t help anyone making a good idea about this, unless I will start to mention what makes it different than the rest of the other PPD networks. So let’s move on and see its features:

Now this is what makes Cleanfiles stand as a great rival for the rest of the other PPD networks, its features!

Now let’s say you just uploaded a file, in this example is pdf file. Once you uploaded it, it will look like this:

Now click settings, and here is where you will make you file get pimped up so that your conversions will skyrocket! Once you click Settings, you will see this:

Now I will explain you what every one of these means:

Show Share Buttons -> This function can enable or disable the Facebook Like & Share button of that particular file, that appears below the file on the download page. Although rarely someone actually shares on their own will, some people really do share or like, for weird reasons. Speaking of which, here comes a great feature regarding the Facebook thing:

Share Lock Mode -> This will literally force the users/downloaders to Like your download page before they can move on and download your file / complete the survey. Don’t use this on all your files, but do use them for some files that might have a potential effect to get viral. For example it would be useless to have a text file called Password, and activate this option, because when other people will see your page being like, and visit it and see that there is a Password text file, they won’t know what that is for. On the other hand, if you share something which might even be related to Facebook, or simply something interesting, then you can activate this option. If it goes viral, you’re set!

Remember that you can set whether the page you want to be Liked is going to be your Download Page, or just another link that you wish to be liked. For that, you can change or let it be that way, at the Facebook Like URL at the bottom of the picture.

Show Upload Date -> This can enable whether to show or not the date of when your file was uploaded, on your Download Page. I would usually recommend to check this, as well as the following:

Rig Upload Date -> No matter when you uploaded your file, if you check this option, your file will always be fresh for your visitors. Instead of showing that actual date of when your file was displayed (example April 4 2012), it will always show as current date, with -5 days earlier than the current day when the visitor is seeing it. So if the visitor sees this on 18 January 2013, the file’s date won’t show as uploaded on 4 April 2012, but it will show that it was updated on 13 January 2013, so like that it will always seem fresh in the eyes of your visitors. A big + for that in conversions, for those people who think they just found a file that might be outdated, not working anymore or whatever reason.

Popularity Rig -> Another cool feature of Cleanfiles, that puts a picture under the download button which will make your file seem very popular, liked, shared, retweeted and so on. It’s up to you if you want to use this feature or not, but most of the people do.

Show # Of Downloads -> This is a must and one of the things that counts in increasing your file’s conversion. Check this box and all downloads that your file had, will be counted and shown on the Download Page, making your file seem more popular. Speaking of which:

Download Rig -> This is something that few used to manually do it on their blog before, and something that you won’t find on other PPD networks, as well as most of the other features. The download rig will make your file appear popular enough, literally as popular as you want it to seem. You can write any number in there, which will be added to the rest of the downloads already made. It will be shown and added with the Show # Of Downloads that I mentioned above. You can disable this by simply putting 0, but keep in mind that this offers a huge advantage in terms of conversions. So for example you can add 29, or 236 or even 32078 in there, and people that wants to download your file, will see that there was already downloaded by the amount of times you set.

# Of Offers  -> Here you can write the maximum amount of offers/surveys that will show up after visitors will click the download button. Currently the maximum is 7, but the users can click Show More and it will appear more offers.

(Also, regarding the offers, you can also ssee which offers performed better, and you can favorite them to show up next time someone sees your Download Page, to show up in the top of your offers. Total freedom, something which you won’t see on other PPD networks and something that made me realize what a gem of a PPD network, Cleanfile is)

Right at the time when you will log in to your account at Cleanfiles, you will see the Members Area, which is very user friendly, beautifully designed, showing your live statistics of your account, such as:

Earnings -> The total amount of money your made from downloads during that day

Impressions -> Unique visitors (per IP) that visited your download page

Clicks -> The number of clicks that you made out from impressions, which is the amount of clicks that people did on offers

EPC -> Earn Per Click

Downloads -> This obviously, shows the total number of downloads from that day

Average Per Download -> It’s the average amount of money you have made from the downloads you had during that day.

One other thing is that  you can see on live, the leader boards with the top 5 earners, inspiring you to start taking action and work, to make your name show up in there (You can choose if you want your username or set some other nickname, to appear in the leader board. That can be found in there easily)

There are 8 sections in the members area of Cleanfiles, which if used well will amplify your experience with this network, as you can see in the picture below:

Let’s talk a few words about each of these, in this A to Z Cleanfiles review:

Statistics -> In here you can see several different types of breakdown stats, in various formats, and you see for any period of time you want. It’s also possible to download the info that is generated by the statistics tool. You are able to break these down into widget stats, download, file, whatever you need to see. This is really useful regarding your files,if you want to know what works and what doesn’t;

Account -> This is the place to manage your account information, like your payment options, your name, your password and so on;

File Manager -> If you are looking to set up your files, this is an essential factor of what makes this pay per download network so good. You can share lock your file, rig the upload date and its number of downloads, activate the sharing features and so on. I talked about these above, so now you know where to find them. Keep in mind that the rest of the PPD networks are lacking these features, that’s why many people reported an increase in conversions, after they moved their campaigns to CleanFiles.

Forum -> A pretty active forum, which seems to be a like a new place of where the PPD veterans are moving. Therefore, the CleanFiles forum is sure a place from where you can learn pretty much. On top of that, you will find a vast number of good guides being shared in there, as well as all kinds of tutorials and money making threads that you can use to earn more and more with this network.

Affiliates -> You will find in here your affiliate ID to let your friends sign up under your referral ID, which will make your earn 5% whenever they get a download.

Optimize -> A very strong feature for this network, that I really haven’t seen on any other PPD network. In this place you can select and change specifically what offers are being shown to the people that are visiting and attempting to download your file, so you can choose from the ones that converts the most up to the most popular. This is a total game changer which will help you increase your EPC for sure.

YouTube Panel -> A great feature that comes for free of course. You can insert in here the links of your YouTube videos, and monitor all the views, comments, likes and such made on that video, as well as to check if your video is still up or not. In this way, you will save valuable time, instead of going manually to verify every video, you can monitor them all in one place.

Widget ->  Here you will be able to get a widget that you can add to your site, and you will also find in here a new WordPress plugin. More info about that on the site. Won’t spoil out everything, so you can have some surprises too.

As you know, there are many networks that requires and ask you about a lot of things, which makes it hard for people to get approved. Usually, this process is just a method to make people think that if they get approved hard, it’s worth it. Same goes with the mentality when you join a private site or forum.
